Seeds

Seeds are basically how the world will generate, many players can input many particular seeds in order to load the particular world generation, but there have been secret seeds. Secret seeds are basically easter eggs found by players, that may include weird generation and unique features. There are 8 different secret seeds which load a whole new different world.

Difficulty

The difficulty section represents itself of how challenging the game itself is. On creation, people may choose Journey mode, Classic mode, Expert mode and Master mode. Other difficulties that you may have heard are created by using different seeds.

Quite hard

This game can be pretty hard if you're unfamilliar with it's controls and features, bosses and events, quests and enchantments, but don't worry, the more you play, the more knowledge you get.

Weapons

There's a ton of weapons you can use in Terraria. Starting from by far the worst weapons up to the best weapons in the game. Of course, in like any game, you can't get them with a snap of your fingers, you need to grind materials.
